Frank Miller Dead
Frank Miller, one of the oldest pioneers of this county, died at his home in Olema last Thursday at the age of 82. The deceased came to California in 1849 and has lived at Olema for 56 years. Some months ago he was injured in attempting to board the electric cars at the B street station and it is believed that the injuries received hastened his death. A large delegation of Odd Fellows, sixteen in number, hired the large tally-ho from McPhail’s stable and attended the funeral. The funeral was held from the Methodist church, Rev. Simmons officiating.
The deceased was engaged in farming, and was considered one of the most honorable men in the county. His death comes as a sad blow to his many old friends.
