GREY DRESSER
Grey Dresser of Lucas Valley, an 18-year resident of Marin, died Saturday in a San Francisco hospital after a long illness. He was 65.
Dresser was born in Columbus, Ga. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Dresser spent 21 years in the Army before retiring in 1960 at the rank of Lieutenant colonel.
He worked as the executive secretary of the American Institute of Banking in San Francisco before retiring three years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Virginia Dresser of Lucas Valley; three sons, Robert Dresser of Lucas Valley, Troup Dresser of Sonoma and Lance Dresser of Lucas Valley; a daughter, Deborah Dresser of Santa Rosa; and one grandson.
At his request, Dresser’s ashes will be scattered at sea.
The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the grandfather of Cody Dresser. Inurnment was at Bahia Valley Memorial Park (sic). Arrangements were by Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
