Rose Vierra, Aged 80 Years, Died Sunday
Rose Vierra, aged resident of this city, died at her home on B street last Sunday following a stroke of paralysis. She was the wife of the late Antone and sister of Marie, Marianna and Joaquin T. Freitas, and Mrs. Martha Borba, a native of Azores Islands, aged 80 years.
Friends attended the funeral Tuesday, February 21, 1928, at 9:30 o’clock a.m. at St. Raphael’s church, where requiem high mass was celebrated for the repose of her soul. Many friends called at the Keaton & Dusel’s parlors, Fifth and E streets. Interment was at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
