ELIZABETH CLARKE
Mrs. Elizabeth Clifford Clarke, 51, a former resident of Corte Madera, was killed Saturday in an automobile accident in Harrison, Ark., when the car in which she was riding went off a highway curve.
She was the wife of Maj. Kenneth G. Clarke of the Air Force. The couple had lived on Mohawk Drive in Corte Madera from 1954 to 1962 when Clarke was stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base.
She is survived by her husband, now stationed in Montgomery, Ala., and two brothers, Robert Clifford of Burlington, Vt., and James Clifford of Wallingford, Conn.
Funeral will be held Friday afternoon at Pumphrey Funeral Home in Bethesda, Md. Burial will be in Rockville, Md.
