MURIEL BANFIELD
San Rafael resident
Muriel Edith Banfield, a San Rafael resident, died Nov. 3 of congestive heart failure. She was 93.
Mrs. Banfield was born in San Francisco and also lived in Fairfax. She attended business college in San Francisco. She was a homemaker. She was a charter and honorary member of the Tamalpais High School Parent Teacher Association; a volunteer for the TB Association in Marin, for which she was given a distinguished service award for over 20 years of service; and served as head of the Christmas Seal Drive.
She is survived by her son Bob Banfield of Ignacio and two grandchildren.
Services were held at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo on Monday.
