FRANCES WARD
Novato resident

Frances Therese Ward, a Novato resident, died Nov. 8 in San Rafael of a stroke. She was 65.

Mrs. Ward earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at San Francisco State University and made her career as a teacher.

She lived in Novato for 29 years and was a member of Our Lady of Loretto Church, where she sang in the choir, for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband, Derrick; sons Ken and Mark; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato on Monday at 7:30 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
