PHYLLIS ALLEN
Mrs. Phyllis T. Allen, 36, of 404 Alameda De La Loma, Loma Verde, died in a local hospital yesterday after a long illness.
Mrs. Allen, a substitute elementary school teacher in the Novato School District, had lived with her husband and two children in Marin County for seven years. She was a native of San Marino, Los Angeles County.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in San Rafael.
Her husband, Robert T. Allen, is an advertising man in San Francisco. She is also survived by a son Michael R. Allen; a daughter, Marilyn J. Allen; her mother, Mrs. August Burst of Mentone, San Bernardino County, and a sister, Mrs. Nova Bristol of Los Angeles.
Funeral will be tomorrow, 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, San Rafael. Interment will be private.
The family prefers contributions to the American Cancer Society.
