NAN McALLISTER
A private funeral was conducted for Nan McAllister of Tiburon, who died at home Tuesday, July 7, 1987. She was 83.
Mrs. McAllister was active for many years with the March of Dimes. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. McAllister was a native of Scotland. She moved to the United States when she was two years old. In 1926 she married Robert McCallister (sic), whom she met in Canada.
The couple lived in the state of Washington, then moved to Tiburon in 1941. They moved to Southern California, then back to Tiburon in 1945, where they have lived since.
Mr. McAllister, an electrician, died in 1981.
Mrs. McAllister is survived by a son, John McAllister of Tiburon; two daughters, Roberta Locati of Tiburon and Margaret Searcy of Buffalo, Wyo.; two sisters, Margaret McColl of Rohnert Park and Helen Morris of San Juan Capistrano; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family prefers contributions to the Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Dr., San Rafael.
