ETHEL DENNIS
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Church of God in Marin City for Ethel Dennis of Marin City who died Tuesday, July 7, 1987, at Marin General Hospital. She was 77.
Mrs. Dennis was a native of Jacksonville, Texas, where she lived on a farm with her parents. She was married to Elra Dennis in 1946 and the couple moved from Tyler, Texas, to Marin City, where they have lived since.
Mrs. Dennis worked in 1946 as a cook at the Presidio of San Francisco. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Celestine Brock of Sacramento, a sister, Melvin Silas of Dallas, Texas, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. Burial will be at Fernwood Cemetery in Mill Valley.
