JESSIE LINDSEY
Jessie Lindsey, 79, of 125 Bothin Road, Fairfax, died yesterday at a local hospital after a short illness.
A native of Cheswick, England, she had lived in Marin for 56 years. She was the widow of Sidney Lindsey.
Surviving are three daughters, Sarah Daveler of Larkspur, Marjorie Lindsey of Washington D.C. and Barbara Thompson of San Bruno; a son, John Lindsey of Alamo; a sister, Grace Slough of Australia; a brother, Frank Watts of England; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael. Memorial gifts preferred to Guide Dogs for the Blind or Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church in Corte Madera.
