Dr. Robert Chase Dies; Mass Slated
Dr. Robert Norman Chase, 44, of Kernberry Drive, Lucas Valley, a plastic surgeon, died yesterday at a San Francisco hospital after a short illness.
A native of Fort Dodge, Ia., Dr. Chase had lived in Marin County for three years and served on the staffs of Marin General, Ross General and San Rafael General hospitals. He had previously been in practice in San Francisco for seven years.
Dr. Chase was a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Marin County Medical Society, and [was] a graduate of the University of Iowa.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Chase; three sons, Gregory, Brian and Christopher; a daughter, Julianne, all of Lucas Valley, and his mother, Mrs. Julia Chase of Long Beach.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Isabelle’s Church, Terra Linda. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at Keaton’s Chapel, San Rafael, at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
