Frank Eastman Welfare Head, Dies Friday

Frank H. Eastman, administrator of the Marin County Welfare Department for nearly 10 years, died at a local hospital last Friday morning following a five-days’ illness. The 70-year-old official is survived by his wife, Mabel M. Eastman, of Sausalito.

Before coming to the welfare post, Eastman was SERA agent for northern California, city engineer in Sausalito and civil engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad.

Funeral services were held in San Rafael on Saturday.
