Morrison Boy Killed in Plane Crash
Arthur R. Morrison, 23, son of Lieut. Col. and Mrs. Raymond Morrison of San Rafael, was killed in a training plane crash near Stewart Field, New York, last Thursday.
The air cadet, who was training to become an Army Air Force pilot, was attending the U. S. Military Academy at West Point, and would have received his wings and a second lieutenant’s commission on June 5.
Cadet Morrison was a 1940 graduate of San Rafael High School. He received his appointment to West Point from Senator Hiram Johnson in 1942.
