EATON, Merle V., 83, formerly of Mill Valley, passed away December 1, 2001. Daniels Chapel Of The Roses, Santa Rosa, 707-545-0880.
Merle V. Eaton
Passed away in Santa Rosa on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at age 83. Dearly beloved husband of Ruth Eaton of Rohnert Park; beloved father of Lee Eaton of South Lake Tahoe, Lynn Lucas and her husband Daniel of West Richland, Washington; dear father-in-law of Lorna Eaton of Cotati; adored grandfather of Katie Pease and her husband Nathaniel of American Canyon, Kristina Eaton of Thousand Oaks, Matthew Eaton of Santa Rosa, Brett and Gregory Lucas of West Richland, Washington; devoted great grandfather of Leah Pease of American Canyon; dear brother of Agnes Mae Lillegraven of Wyoming, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Luverne, Obert, Everett and Emery Eaton. Merle was a long time resident of Mill Valley and the Regional Service Manager for Toyota Motor Sales in San Francisco for 20 years before retiring to Rohnert Park. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force with the 13th Photo Reconnaissance in the South Pacific during WWII. He was a member of the Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, Rohnert Park, SIRS #132, Fairfax Lodge #556 F&AM. He loved camping and fishing. He was a native of Minnesota. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, 5475 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park.
