Pioneer Doctor Dies In San Francisco
Dr. Robert H. Freund of San Francisco, father of Mrs. H. R. Eklund of San Rafael, a pioneer San Francisco physician and for many years preceding the fire one of the leading scientists on the Pacific Coast, died last Saturday at the Franklin hospital where he had been confined by an illness of many years duration. He was 77 years of age, and a graduate of the University of Leipzig.
