JEAN LEWIS
Memorial service for Jean Lewis of Novato, head of the secretary staff of the Golden Gate Bridge and Highway District, is pending in Irving, Tex.
Mrs. Lewis died Friday noon at the Presidio Officers’ Club, apparently of a heart attack. She was 54.
Mrs. Lewis headed the secretarial staff for Peter Clainos, secretary of the Golden Gate Bridge and Highway District, for the past four years. She had previously worked for the district for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Lewis of 106 Santa Maria Drive, Novato, a retired Air Force Officer; and two daughters, Robin Jefferson of Irving, Tex. and Jean Kenny of North Carolina.
Inurnment will be in Irving, Tex.
