Matthew R. Vidmar
Passed away on December 8, 2001, at the home of his daughter, Christina, in Sebastopol, California, at the age of 92 years. Born April 8, 1909, in San Francisco; a Potrero Hill Native. Mr. Vidmar's Barber Shop, located at 22nd and Hampshire, has been the place where Mr. Vidmar's customers have been coming since 1936 and continued until his death. A devoted father, and he is survived by: his daughter, Christina Piehoff; son-in-law, Claude Piehoff and grandchildren, Joseph Piehoff, Claudine Mason, and great grandchildren, Carly, Hailey, and Lauren. Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 17, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave. DC and preceded by a Visitation at noon. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.
