W. H. ANDERSON

William H. Anderson, a resident of Marin County for 24 years, died yesterday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 58.

For the past 12 years, Anderson has been an engineer with the San Francisco Bay Toll Crossing Authority. He lived at 8 Laverne Avenue, Mill Valley.

He was born in Manchester, Iowa, and educated in schools there and in South Dakota. He came to California in 1929.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Anderson of Mill Valley; three brothers, Charles Anderson of Salem, Ore., Henning Anderson of New Hampton, Iowa, and Silas Anderson of Manchester; and five sisters, Ulla Manson and Eleanor Paulos, both of Manchester; Esther Wallace of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Jeanne Zaelke of Huntington Park.

Private funeral services will be held Monday at Russell and Gooch Mortuary in Mill Valley. The family prefers contributions to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
