Miss Fitzroy Suicides at County Farm

Life became unbearable for Miss Belle Fitzroy, 68, county farm resident, after her friend, Mrs. Nellie Lindwell, died several weeks ago.

She disappeared from the farm Tuesday morning and that afternoon her body was found hanging to a tree a quarter of a mile away.

She had gone to a wooded place where she and Mrs. Lindwell often walked and there knotted a bath robe cord about her neck and hanged herself.

Miss Fitzroy, daughter of the late Peter Fitzroy, was noted for her beauty in her young days. She had been at the farm since September, 1929, and had been in failing health for some time.
