MRS SCETTRINI
Virginia M. Scettrini of 54 San Pablo Avenue, San Rafael, died in a local hospital yesterday after a short illness. She was 81.
Born in Switzerland, Mrs. Scettrini had lived in California and Marin County nearly all her life.
She was the mother of Henry Scettrini, owner of D & S Garage Inc., San Rafael. Her husband, the late Henry Scettrini, was a dairyman in Marin with ranches in different areas, including where the Civic Center is now located.
She is survived by two sons, Edward and Henry Scettrini, and two daughters, Mrs. Paul Silva and Helen Scettrini, all of San Rafael; two sisters, Amelia and Margaret; a brother, Peter Magetti, of Novato; and four grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Santa Venetia. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. Rosary will be recited at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael, at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
