A Former San Rafael Girl Killed

The city papers of last Thursday tell of the sad accident which happened to Miss BERNICE McCLELLAN, who lost her life last Wednesday afternoon by falling down the elevator shaft at the Standard Biscuit Co.'s factory at San Francisco. Miss McClellan was the daughter of William J. McClellan who used to work for several of the carriage men in San Rafael as painter, and lived in this place with his family about a year ago. Bernice was a school girl here not long ago and doubtless has many acquaintances who are sorry to hear of her death. She was the oldest of 8 children in the family and leaves these and her mother and father to mourn her loss.
