Death
The many friends of the late THOMAS WINTRINGHAM were profoundly shocked when the news of his terribly sudden death became known on Thursday. He had been troubled for two or three days with sharp pain in the region of the heart, but his indisposition was not considered in any sense serious. Late on Wednesday night, however, he was found dead in bed unconscious, having been seized with a sudden and acute attack of heart failure. Medical assistance was sought hastily, but before a doctor arrived he had passed away.
Mr. Wintringham had resided in San Rafael for more than 15 years, and was a well known and respected citizen. For nearly a quarter of a century, he had been connected with the firm of Parrott & Co., and leaves behind in business circles, a character for exact integrity that his descendants can always remember with pride. He leaves a widow and a son and a daughter to mourn his loss.
