Passed away Sunday, October 21, 2001 fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. Beloved wife of the late Wendell Bowie; mother of Bette Engels; grandmother of Susan Reams and Jeffrey Engels. Dear sister of Olive R. Sommers and her husband Raymond of St. Louis, Missouri; dear aunt of Stanley Baer and his wife Nancy of Jacksonville, Florida, Carole Johannsen and her husband Larry of Antioch, California and Sandra Baer of Washington, D.C. She is also the dear grand aunt, great grand aunt, and friend of many. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2001 at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel, 270 Miller Avenue, Mill Valley. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will be at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, Santa Rosa, California. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hanna Boys Center, 17000 Arnold Drive, Sonoma, CA 95476 or to a charity of your choice.
