JOSEPH PEREIRA
Joseph N. Pereira of Petaluma, a dairyman in Marin County for many years, died yesterday in a Petaluma hospital after a short illness. He was 68.
A native of the Azores Islands, he had lived at his Petaluma dairy ranch at 3355 Redwood Highway for 20 years. He was a member of the I.D.E.S. Portuguese lodge, Novato chapter.
He leaves his wife, Marie Pereira of Petaluma; two daughters, Mrs. Louisa Bellow of Glen Ellen, Sonoma County, and Mrs. Gloria Bellow of Petaluma; a brother, Francisco Pereira of the Azores Islands, and two grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be said Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent’s Church in Petaluma with funeral cortege starting at Sorensen’s Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma.
