Death of William A. Scott
WILLIAM A. SCOTT, for some time a resident of this place, and an insurance and banking man of San Francisco, passed away at his home here last Wednesday morning. He was a son of the late Rev. W.A. Scott, D.D.L.L.D., and a brother-in-law of A.W. Foster. His sickness had been of about three month's duration but his death was unexpected to his friends. He was 57 years of age and was a native of New Orleans. He leaves a family of two sons and one daughter.
The funeral took place last Thursday from St. John's Presbyterian Church in San Francisco.
