HAROLD PALMER

Word was received here Tuesday morning by Deputy Coroner J. R. Keaton of the death of his brother-in-law, Harold Palmer, with the information that the young man had taken his own life by means of a dose of strychnine. Palmer was well known here, where he had resided most of his life. He left here about a year ago and at the time of his death he was employed by the Shell Oil Company at Santa Rosa. The night before his death he registered at a hotel in Guerneville, and in the morning he was found dead in bed, with an empty strychnine bottle by his side. He was a nephew of the late Mrs. F. P. Clark, with whom he resided here before his marriage a few years ago. He is survived by a widow, who was Miss Keaton, and two small children. J. R. Keaton left immediately to arrange for the funeral and burial service.
