HAZEL JOHNSON
Funeral for Hazel Rita Johnson of San Francisco, sister of Hulda Meldau and May Milnor of Larkspur, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
Miss Johnson, 81, died Sunday in a local hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Washington but moved to California in about 1920.
For many years she was a stenographer and secretary, working as a private secretary for Standard Oil Co. in San Francisco for 28 years. After she retired from Standard when she was 60, she worked for other firms until she was 65.
Inurnment will be in Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma.
