Sydney Yukiye Noda Bartell
Passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at her Los Altos home. She was 57 years old. Born in Denver, Colorado on August 19, 1944, Sydney grew up in California's central valley and graduated from Turlock High School. She attended the San Jose Hospital School of Nursing and was certified by the State of California as an R.N. She lived a short time in Florida before returning to the San Jose area where she lived for the past twenty years. She is survived by brothers Eric Noda and his wife Charlotte Lewis Noda of Novato, California and Bruce Noda of Corte Madera, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Grace Noda of Turlock, Calif. Sydney was also loved and will be greatly missed by her devoted friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at Spangler Mortuary in Los Altos 650-948-6619. Donations preferred to Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley.
