ILY SALMI
Funeral for Ily Salmi, 67, of Petaluma, who died Friday, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Parent Funeral Chapel in Petaluma.
Mrs. Salmi collapsed in a taxi while riding home from work. She was rushed to a Petaluma hospital but was dead on arrival.
She was born in Biwabik, Minn., and came to Petaluma 27 years ago.
She worked for almost 25 years at the Lace House Laundry. At the time of her death she was employed at the Petaluma Convalescent Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Charles N. Salmi; a son, Harold Salmi of Evelyn, Minn., a daughter, Betty Lundberg of San Bruno; two brothers, Matt Koski of Duluth, Minn., and Andy Koski of Petaluma; a sister, Mae Murry of Novato, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Parent Funeral Home after noon tomorrow.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Virginia, Minn.
The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
