MARILYNN HOFFMAN
Former Marin resident
Marilynn “Onnie” Hoffman of Petaluma died at home Thursday after a lengthy illness. She was 53.
Mrs. Hoffman was born in Glendale and moved to Northern California in 1958. She lived in Napa, Sacramento and Lagunitas before settling in Petaluma in 1981.
She enjoyed gardening and Giants baseball.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Hoffman of Petaluma; a son, Bryan Hoffman of Cotati; three daughters, Patricia Grinnell of Petaluma, Carolyn Hoffman of Petaluma and Mary Vasser of San Francisco; four sisters, Helen Campbell, Lois Genetti, Marge Russell and Joanne Stock; and six grandchildren.
A memorial celebration will be held at noon Monday at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma.
