LAURA DORNBACH Dies At 63
Laura R. Dornbach, 63, of 3 Lagoon Road, Belvedere, died yesterday in a Novato hospital after a long illness.
A native of Fort William, Ontario, Canada, she came to this country more than 40 years ago. For many years she worked as a secretary to the Redwood Empire Association. Later she was active in the real estate business in Southern Marin.
Her husband, the late Charles Dornbach, was assistant curator in the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco and was known throughout Marin County as an artist.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Dornbach Jr. of Fremont and Peter Dornbach of the home; four sisters, Etta Bloom and Ida Patterson of San Francisco, Barbara Shirk of Laguna Beach and Wynne Clark of Novato and a brother, Carter Robins of Edmunds, Wash.
Private funeral arrangements are pending at the Redwood Chapel funeral Home in Novato. Private burial will follow.
