WILLIAM J. WHITE Dies At 84

William J. White, retired manufacturing foreman, of 138 Tunstead Avenue, San Anselmo, died last night at a local hospital following a short illness.

White, 84, was foreman with the Chain Belt Co. of Milwaukee, Wis., manufacturers and assemblers of cement mixers, for 27 years.

A native of New York, he had lived in California for 21 years and in Marin for 12 years.

Survivors are his wife, Martha M. White, four daughters, Verna F. White of San Anselmo, Mrs. Grace M. Fink of Milwaukee, Mrs. Pearl L. Roeglin of Wind Lake, Wisc., and Mrs. Norma M. Schwan of Tucson, Ariz., two sisters, Mrs. Chloe Dracy of Hialeah, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Remillong of Elberta, Ala.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Trinity Lutheran Church, San Rafael, with burial in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was also the brother of the late Bertha Woodruff. He was survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Harry M. Williams Mortuary of San Rafael was in charge of arrangements.
