TRODDEN, John Otis 80 of Santa Rosa, passed away October 10, 2001. Eggen & Lance, Santa Rosa, 707-545-3747.
Died in San Francisco, October 10, 2001. Loving husband of Linda Trodden of Santa Rosa who was his best friend; father of Anne Gray of San Rafael, John V. Trodden of San Francisco and Pinole, Jay C. Trodden of Reno, Jeanne Stofle of Fairfield, Ayala Lonzesiro Vesta of Alameda and the late Robert T. Trodden of Fairfield and San Francisco. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, beloved brother of Mrs. Rosemary French of San Francisco. Beloved step-father of Margaret Byrd of Rohnert Park and step-grandfather of Juliana, Gretchen, Matt, Jennifer and Rebecca Byrd. Lifelong friend since first grade Robert Schaadt, friend for many years of James K. O'Malley of San Francisco and Santa Rosa. A native of San Francisco. Age 80 years. He had been a Junior High School teacher for over 32 years in Marin, Arizona, Alaska and Kuwait. He was a member of St Eugene's Cathedral and was active on the Parish Council and the Inactive Catholic Program. He also worked on the Parish publication "Ordinary Times". He was a Veteran of World War II serving in the 3rd Army in Europe. He was a graduate of San Francisco State with a Master's Degree and had worked in the automobile business in Marin, San Francisco and Forestville for many years. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, October 15, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eugene's Cathedral, Farmers Land and Montgomery Drive. Friends are also invited to a Vigil Service on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the EGGEN & LANCE MORTUARY and may pay their respects between the hours of 12 Noon and 9 p.m. Sunday. Those desiring may make memorial contribuitons to the Alaska Radio Mission-KNOM,
