HELLIESEN, Carolyn F., passed away September 13, 2001. Daphne-Fernwood Mortuary, Mill Valley, 415-383-7100.
Carloyn F. Helliesen
A lovely caring lady, who promoted the philosophy of volunteering and contributing to her community, passed away September 13, 2001. A Memorial was held on September 30th, to celebrate her life and the wonderful woman she was. It was held at her home in Tiburon, where she had been living with her daughter for the past four years. Born March 3, 1917 she lived in Monterey 41 years. She was a member of DAR, Monterey History & Art Assn., Delta Gamma, Panhellenic, Red Cross and the SPCA. She enjoyed traveling and golf. Carolyn loved cats and was very supportive of Marin Cat Connection. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Allen, and her cat Mindy Helliesen. She is very loved and very missed.
