BOND, William J. (Bill) 73 formerly of Marin passed away September 16, 2001. DeMoss Durdan, Corvallis, Oregon 541-754-6255
William J. (Bill) Bond, January 24, 1928 - Sept. 16, 2001
Age 73, died on September 16, 2001, in Oregon. Born in Marin County, he was the son of Fred and Pansy (Barnes) Bond. He graduated from San Rafael H.S. in 1945 and joined the Navy where he served in the SeaBees (Construction Battalion). He met and married Ruth (Burnham) Bond, August 18, 1951 who graduated from Tamalpais High, and moved to Santa Rosa in 1959 thru 1979. Then to Graeagle, CA in 1979, and Oregon in 1990. He and his wife Ruth, of 50 years, raised seven children. He was a retired Carpenter by trade and in the Carpenter's Union in Santa Rosa. Sons: Larry Bond, CA, Tom Bond, OR, Daughters: Kathy Wilson of NV, Penny Pollock, Connie Sypriano and Margie Wayt of CA, Amy Hebert of WA, Sister & Brother-in-law, Shirley and Harry Cordall of Palm Springs. Also, 12 grandchildren and 11⁄2 great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. No services held. Contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
