SANCHEZ, Ophelia G. (Cesena), 71, a native of San Francisco, passed away October 6, 2001. O'Connell's Funeral Chapel, San Mateo, 650-345-8585.
Ophelia G. (Cesena) Sanchez
Born March 14, 1930, native of San Francisco, California, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2001 at the age of 71. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Sanchez and daughter, Eileen Sisemore and grandchildren, Lesly Griffin and her husband, Scott and great grandsons, Jack and Erik and grandchildren Joey, Renee, Victor Easley and Ryan Sisemore. Also survived by her mother-in-law, Julia Sanchez and mother Josephine Cesena; sister, Lupe Villar; brother, Edward Cesena and numerous nieces and nephews and many close relatives and good friends. She was a graduate of Mission High School and Munson Business College. She was a volunteer at Peninsula Humane Society and College of San Mateo. We will always love her and she will be missed by everyone touched by her beauty. Friends may visit on Wednesday, October 10, 2001 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the Vigil Service beginning at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 11, 2001 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Lukes Catholic Church in Foster City, California.
