BEQUETTE, Marian, 85, formerly of San Rafael, passed away September 18, 2001. Pacific Gardens Chapel, Santa Cruz, 831-423-5721.
Marian Bequette
Passed away on September 18th, 2001 in Santa Cruz at the age of 85. She leaves behind her daughter Lee Gillin (and husband John) of Santa Cruz, her son David Bequette (and wife Sue) of Chico, three grandchildren Bridget Smith (and husband Ken) of Santa Cruz, Erin Cox (and husband Scott) of Santa Cruz, Lisa Bequette of Cohasset and a great grandson Justin Smith. A native Californian, Marian was born in Lodi and spent her early years in San Francisco. She was a resident of Auburn for 50 years and worked as a secretary at Placer High School prior to moving to San Rafael to be near her daughter in 1981. She was active in Handicapables of Marin. Marian moved to Santa Cruz in late August to be near her family. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Isabella's in Terra Linda on Saturday October 6th at 1:00 P.M. with a gathering immediately following at Freitas House Community Room. Remembrances may be made to Handicapables of Marin, 34 Pigeon Hollow Road, San Rafael, CA 94901 or to your favorite charity.
