HARRINGTON Jr., Timothy F., 87, passed away October 2, 2001. Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo, 415-453-8440.

Surrounded by his family, Tim Harrington died at the Vintage Estates in Greenbrae on October 2, 2001 at age 87. He is survived by his loving wife Emmagene (Jean) of 58 years and six children: Timothy Harrington III (Bernadette) of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Jane Murphy (Jerry) of Mercer Island, Washington, Mary McPartland (Mike) of Indian Wells, Edward Harrington (Fran) of Carmichael, Steven Harrington (Mona Lea) of El Cerrito and Ann Gillespie (Walt) of Fairfax. Tim was the beloved grandfather of eight: Sean and Bridie Harrington, Kate Murphy, Bill and Carrie Corey, Katie and Brad Harrington, and Emma Lea Harrington. Tim is also survived by two nephews and a niece: Mike Madden of Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, Mike Harrington of Silverton, Oregon and Patty Rendahl of Gilbert, Arkansas. Tim was born in Madison, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin where he earned a law degree. He served as a naval officer in WWII and practiced law in Beloit, Wisconsin until he moved his family to California in 1964. He retired from the Trust Department of the Bank of California (now Union Bank). Tim was a member of Saint Anselms Church and the Olympic Club for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 6 at Saint Anselms Church in San Anselmo. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any donations be made to the charity of your choice.
