DEBORAH PLA
A 21-year-old Corte Madera woman, traveling in Mexico, was killed along with two other persons last Friday in an automobile accident, it was learned today
Deborah Erlene Pla, of 35 Tamal Vista Boulevard, died in the wreck about 80 miles south of Nogales. A fourth person was critically injured.
Miss Pla’s mother, Candace, had no other details of the tragedy.
Miss Pla, born in Monterey and a Marin resident for seven years, graduated from Redwood High School in Larkspur and attended the College of Marin. She had worked for the Marin Shakespeare Festival.
Besides her mother, Miss Pla is survived by her father, Ernie Parr-Pla, and five sisters, Sandra Oiler of Columbus, Ohio; Michele Pla of Berkeley, and Gabrielle, Jacquenette and Bernadetta Pla, all of the home.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Carew and English Mortuary, San Francisco.
