Mildred Irene Blackford
Passed away September 20, 2001 at home in Cameron Park, after brief knowledge of cancer.
Born February 18, 1924 in Denver Colorado, lived the majority of her life in San Rafael and Sacramento's outlying communities. Known by all who met her as the ultimate hostess. Mildred, who held the most memorable gatherings, would leave you reminiscing for days about her contagious laughter and personal attention.
Sons, Frank and Dean and Daughter, Angel (Sugar) will miss their mother's love.
Preceded in death by her mother, father and four brothers: Ruth, Charles, Harold, Gilbert, Howard, and Donald Lathrop.
The Family requests donations be made to Hospice in lieu of cards or flowers.
