Charles T. Smith Dies In Hospital
Charles T. Smith, San Rafael real estate broker and insurance agent who had been a Marin County resident for 50 years, died at his home today after an illness of several months. He was 77.
Smith had lived at 908 Irwin street where he had his office. A native of England, he is survived by two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Thomas M. Heaphy of New York, Mrs. George Vrang of San Francisco and Thomas H. Smith of England.
He was a member and past master of Marin Lodge 191, Free and Accepted Masons, and a member of the Marin Mutual Benefit Assn.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Inurnment will be at Mt. Tamalpais Crematory, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the husband of the late Birdie M. Smith, brother of the late Percy J. Smith, and that his surviving brother was a resident of Staines, Middlesex, England.
