FRANK LUND
Frank F. Lund, 75, a retired Cotati landscape gardener, died today at a Santa Rosa convalescent hospital after a long illness.
He was born and reared in Cotati and graduated from Petaluma High School. Lund served in World War I and had worked as a store clerk until opening Lund’s Nursery in Cotati many years ago. He was well known for his hybridized gladiolas. Lund operated the nursery until five years ago and retired three years ago.
Lund was a member of Sebastopol Barracks of World War I Veterans, past commander of Cotati Post No. 102 American Legion, and the Petaluma and Marin County branches of the American Fuschia Society.
He is survived by a sister, Anne Wilford of Cotati.
Funeral arrangements were pending today at Sorensen Funeral Home, Petaluma.
