Maurice Driscoll Called By Death

The funeral Tuesday morning of Maurice Driscoll, who was born and reared in Marin County and was a member of a pioneer family, was attended by hundreds of friends from San Rafael and from Tomales, where he was born 41 years ago.

The local man had been ill for the past three months and recently underwent a series of minor operations in a San Francisco hospital. He died Saturday.

The funeral was held from the family home on D street to St. Raphael’s Catholic church, where a requiem high mass was celebrated for the repose of his soul, with the Rev. John Mills officiating. The pallbearers were for the most part employees of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, for whom the deceased had worked for many years. Interment was made in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Driscoll; his sister, Mrs. E. A. Jones, and his two brothers, Lewis and Eugene Driscoll. He was a member of Vallejo Lodge, B. P. O. E.
