HARRY DAVIES
Funeral was scheduled today for Harry Walton Davies of Tacoma, Wash., whose daughter, Mrs. Norman Muir is a resident of San Rafael.
Davies, 61, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was on a visit to his daughter at 845 Las Gallinas Avenue.
He was retired after 42 years as a baker and at one time owned his own business. His wife, Hazel, worked with him as a baker.
He was a member of the Baker’s Union local in Tacoma, Tacoma Lodge No. 174 of the Elks, and Temple No. 6 of Knights of Pythias of Tacoma.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ida Romine of Olympia, Wash., and Mrs. Aileen O’Larey of Tacoma; a brother, Edward Davies of Sumner, Wash.; and one grandson.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
