CLARISE SMITH
Clarise E. Smith, long-time Belvedere resident, died Sunday in a local convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 79.
Miss Smith had lived in Marin since 1915. She was a secretary for Railway Express for 45 years before retiring.
Her closest survivor is a nephew in Oregon.
The funeral will be Wednesday, at 1- a.m. at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. Burial will be private.

A Death Notice in the Jan. 26th paper says she was the aunt of Ben Casey of Medford, Ore.; great-aunt of Karen Carrabino of San Bruno and Kristy Baker of Center Point, Ore.
