Last Rites Held for Manuel V. Soares
Last rites for Manuel V. Soares, 52, McNear’s Beach workman, were held this Thursday morning from the mortuary of Keaton and Dusel. Mass was said in St. Raphael’s Church, Interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Soares had been a resident of Marin county for 35 years. He succumbed Tuesday morning in a local hospital. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rosa Soares; a daughter, Zenas Soares, and four sons, Arthur, Albert, Frank and Manuel Soares.
He was a member of San Rafael Council, No. 19, U.P.E.C.; San Rafael Council, I.B.E.S. and the S.E.S.
