Former Nicasio Woman Dies At Age Of 92 Yrs.
Annie Schaub, wife of the late John Schaub, died at her home in San Francisco October 19th at the age of 92 years. She was the mother of Joseph Mills, John, Mary and Winnifred Schaub, Mrs. Annie Hardt and Mrs. E. F. Byrne, grandmother of Edwin and Mary Byrne, a native of County Wicklow, Ireland. A member of the Ladies’ Sodality of St. Joseph Church.
Many of the older residents of this county will remember Mr. and Mrs. Schaub, as living on the ranch at Nicasio, now owned by John Filippini. The entire family left Nicasio about 25 years ago, and most of them reside in San Francisco, with the exception of Mrs. Byrne, who is a resident of Valley Ford.
The children were all born and reared in this county and attended the school at Nicasio.
