DAHL, Charles "Pard" Mero, 72, of Fairfax, passed away September 16, 2001. Neptune Society, Northern California, 415-898-1868.
Charles "Pard" Mero Dahl, A Resident of Fairfax, California
Passed away September 16, 2001 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 72. Pard is survived by his children and grandchildren: son, Craig (and wife Helen, daughter Hana of Mill Valley); daughter, Jeanette (and husband Thomas, children Cabel and Stephanie Dawson of Scotts Valley); son, Chuck of Williams, Oregon; stepdaughter, Janine (and husband Jason, children Conor and Megan Kowalski of Florence, Montana); and stepson, Paul Kalstad (and wife Dana Kalstad of Rohnert Park).
Born in 1929 and raised in San Francisco, Pard was an avid sailor and member of the Sea Scout Ship Flying Cloud. He graduated from UCSF Dental School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He practiced dentistry in Marin County from 1957 - 2001. He was a charter member of Christ the Victor Lutheran Church in Fairfax, and a Boy Scout Master of Troop 7 in Fairfax where he shared his love of camping and backpacking with many.
A Service to Celebrate his Life will be held at Christ the Victor Lutheran Church in Fairfax on Saturday, October 6th at 2 p.m.
