CONKLIN, William Franklin, formerly of Novato, passed away September 18, 2001, Wilson & Kratzer Mortuary, Danville, 925-820-2999.
William Franklin Conklin
Passed away at home in Dublin on September 18, 2001. Mr. Conklin was born in Novato, California on April 1, 1959 and had been a resident of Dublin for the past seven years. Mr. Conklin was Coach and Chief of Umpires for Dublin Little League and was founder and a member of Novato Travelers Softball. He also played for Hayward C.H.P., and Beale Properties, as well as the Novato Knicks and Modesto Bees semi-pro baseball teams. He was a member of Celebration Christian Center in Livermore.
Mr. Conklin is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children Ryan, Alex and Tyler, all of Dublin; parents, Bill and Gloria Conklin of Novato; sister, Jeanne Conklin of Healdsburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hal and Ellen Conklin of East Meadow, New York and Bob and Lesley Conklin of Novato. He was the son-in-law of Glen and Ruth Petersen of Sonora; and brother-in-law of Bob and Melissa Perry, Tim and Diana Petersen, Dan and Mike Petersen. Bill is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, September 20, 1-8 p.m. at Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon Valley, 825 Hartz Way, Danville, California with a Celebration of Life to be held Monday, September 24th at 12 Noon at Celebration Christian Center, 1135 Bluebell Drive, Dublin, California.
