McWATTERS, Lotte V., 87, passed away September 17, 2001. Keaton's, San Rafael, 415-453-0571.
Lotte V. McWatters
Died in Greenbrae on September 17, 2001 at the age of 87. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas J. McWatters Jr. She is survived by nieces Anita McNulty and Carmel Clark.
She was born in the Philippine Islands, and came to Marin as a child, living in Mill Valley and Larkspur for over 80 years. Lotte was an art major at Dominican College graduating in the mid 1930s. She was the first curator of Marin County Civic Center Galleries retiring in 1996 after 30 years of service. Lotte was an art teacher and active in the Marin Art and Garden Center, the Marin Society of Artists and the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club.
Inurnment was private and memorial contributions may be made to Marin Society of Artists or the Marin Arts Council. Keaton's Mortuary, 1022 E Street, San Rafael, 415-453-0571.
